8.10. - 4.12.11 Marina Abramovic presented in Moscow NEUROSCIENCE EXPERIMENT I: Measuring the Magic of Mutual Gaze - unique, reciprocal collaboration between art and science. Experiment involved American and Russian scientists, curator is Daria Parkhomenko, LABORATORIA's director. Modern scientific equipment allows the artist and scientists to look into the brain of each participant in the experiment. Till December the 4th everyone could take part in the project in Garage CCC.

22.10.11 at 15.00 LABORATORIA take a discussion about science art project THE MINISTRY OF THE TRUTH OF THE PEACE DOVE (Sergei Shutov, artist and scientific advisor Konstantin Anokhin, neurobiologist). The dovecote has all needed facilities for bird living and birdwatching. Video recording system is carried out in order to conduct the research of pigeons' behavior and communications. The discussions will give you a possibility to talk about issues re;ated to the bird behavior study, and even join a working group for future experiments.
