Dear friends and colleagues! For the first time in Russia LABORATORIA Art&Science Space, together with National Centre for Contemporary Arts is proud to present the science art project CLOUD HARP created by famous Canadian artist, physicist and architect NICOLAS REEVES. The Cloud Harp is a meteo-electronic installation that converts the poetry of sky into musical harmony and exists as the unique art-work. Simultaneously with this event LABORATORIA launches CLOUD ATLAS project (Cloud Comission instructions) - open-air exhibition forming the art & information cloud. CLOUD HARP and CLOUD ATLAS will be open from 3 July to 20 October in LAB Garden - a new outdoors experimental project of LABORATORIA.

9 p.m. - the night screenings of science documentary by the unique archive of LENNAUCHFILM studio (1957-2008)
11 p.m. - SOLARIS by Andrey Tarkovsky - the greatest science fiction of the world cinema.

Dear friends, we invite to join the round-table talk CATALYSES for CREATION which is planned to take place at the end of May 2009. The artists and scientists will meet to discuss and interpret some aspects of artistic and scientific creativity. The talk's moderators are Daria Parkhomenko and Georgui Nikich. Among the participants of the meeting are Alexander Avetisov, PhD in Chemistry Science (Karpov Institute of Physical Chemistry), Anya Zhelud, artist; Alexander Ivanov (Ad Marginem Publishing house); Georgy Litichevsky, artist; Alexander Pankin, artist; Vitaly Patsukov, curator and art critic (National Centre for contemporary arts); Lubov Strelnikova, editor-in-chief of Chemistry and Life magazine; Lev Trussov, Phd in Technical Science; Olga Chernysheva, artist.
